She makes a pit viper seem friendly. She and I used to hook up, you could say.

Hah, lucky you. I would almost say pit viper might be too nice, but no you're probably right.

The woods, mostly. Camping grounds where it's easy to hide and not be seen. Sometimes we'd hang out somewhere between here and Santa Ana where I live. Away from his house, away from mine.

Yeah, that's why I didn't tell Elena, I didn't want her to worry any more than she already is. Just packing up and I'm out the door.
