Warnings: Oh yeah.
Notes: I've been dragging my heels about getting Edward and Henry back together as they were made, So. It's done. Only no one knows it, except those who would have been involved (Edward and Heny, of course, Crowley and Zeke, possibly Kia, maybe even Kakia. But Henry's been asleep, so he hasn't been able to warn anyone who might be affected by things)
Edward had planned the evening out. He intended to wine and dine Norah, chip away a little more at the wall she had built around herself. Things had changed, between them, for both of them, since they'd come to this place. Edward still wasn't sure what to make of it all, but he thought if he could get back in bed with Norah, everything else would fall in to place. Sleeping with Norrah was the one thing, other than working, that could make him feel secure, and work wasn't the same. There was no AJ Sun, no great government cover up, no Raymond/Tom to keep up with. It all seemed so pointless, but sleeping with Norah would give his life meaning again.
She proved a lot tougher than he'd expected. He knew she had a weak spot for him, but that was before. Before allt he changes. Before he got his own body, and wasn't tied down to Henry. Separating from Henry had seemed like a great idea at the time. In reality, it had backfired on him. He didn't want to think neither he, nor Henry, was strong enough on their own, it just didn't work out the way Edward had hoped, but it was done and he couldn't take the last few months back.
He could only try to get things back on track, for himself, if not for Henry. Norah was a means to an end for him, and he was making progress, proven by the fact he was currently kissing her, as his hand inched up her thigh. |

Warnings: None...yet.
Edward made his way to the italian restaruant Norah had mentioned in record time. He had a slight suspicion she was going to stand him up, but he swallowed it down. He didn't really think she'd do that to him, even if he sort of deserved it. The truth was, he missed Norah. He'd never fully defined his feelings for her, but since he wasn't seeing her any longer, he realised he missed her.
Seeing her walking toward the front door, he shifted. He felt a bit like a peacock spreading his feathers so the females would notice. He swallowed that down, too. "Hey. Right on time." |

Warnings: Discussions of violence and sexual desires likely
Henry felt tense and cursed at every other car on the road. Finally reaching home, he sat in his car for a moment, focusing on his breathing the way Norah -no, Dr Skinner. Breathing the way Dr Skinner had taught him long ago, before things had gotten so complicated. With a flase feeling of internal calm, Henry headed inside. He went in the back door, directly into the kitchen, and then regretted it. If he'd gone in the front, he could have slipped into the bathroom to spalsh water on his face.
He forced a smile for Norah. "Hey." He went for the fridge, to get something to drink, something to do with his hands. |

What: Edward comes a calling.
Where: Norah and Henry's home
Warnings: Oh yes. Many, and numerous.
Edward had gotten it in his head to go and see Norah. He hadn't seen her since he'd acquired his own body, thanks to Crowley and the boys downstairs. He had spoken to her only once, and had been keeping his distance. He knew going to see her was a bad idea, and he should stay away, let her have her own life. But he missed her, and he was, at the end of the day, just selfish enough to go and see her anyway.
He let himself into the house. He didn't care if Henry was around, though it would certainly be awkward to finally meet his former alter ego face to face. He was curious and intrigued, but he'd been staying away from that, too. He wasn't sure he could trust himself not to kill Henry, now that they were separate. But, this visit wasn't about Henry. If he was there, so be it. If not, well. Edward hoped he wasn't.
"Norah." He called out, moving toward her office. |

After meeting Miranda for coffee, Henry headed home in search of Norah. He needed to speak with her about the things that had happened, about Edward. He wasn't sure he was looking forward to the conversation, and he thought he might leave out some of the finer details, if he could. Or he might tell her the whole thing, and lay there blame where it belonged; on Edward. He was glad to be removed from the other man, or have the other man removed, as it were. Still. He couldn't deny that he sort of felt like something was missing, now. He hoped that feeling went away.
"Norah?" He called out, before he'd opened the door fully. He stepepd inside and yelled out again. "Norah, are you here? It's Henry." |

Norah wasn't quite sure what was wrong with Henry, but she was sure that it had to do with Edward. It always did. Well not always, but his family wasn't there, so it was probably Edward. Maybe the fact that they didn't have a job had something to do with it. It could be a lot of things actually. She'd just have to wait and see.
She went and got a glass of water while she waited for Henry to come home, sitting in her office and making herself comfortable. |
