After meeting Miranda for coffee, Henry headed home in search of Norah. He needed to speak with her about the things that had happened, about Edward. He wasn't sure he was looking forward to the conversation, and he thought he might leave out some of the finer details, if he could. Or he might tell her the whole thing, and lay there blame where it belonged; on Edward. He was glad to be removed from the other man, or have the other man removed, as it were. Still. He couldn't deny that he sort of felt like something was missing, now. He hoped that feeling went away.

"Norah?" He called out, before he'd opened the door fully. He stepepd inside and yelled out again. "Norah, are you here? It's Henry."

	Norah wasn't quite sure if she was expecting Henry or Edward this time, so when it was Henry she tried not to be surprised. Hearing his voice she came out to meet him. "Henry? Hi.." she greeted glancing him over. She was still fairly lost as to what the hell had happened but she figured he'd clue her in. At least she really hoped so. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Henry found a little smile for her. "Hey. I. Hi." He looked down at his hands, fidgeting together in front of himself. "Can we maybe talk in your office?" It wasn't a matter of being over heard, unless Edward was lurking about, but he didn't think that was the case. He simply thought he would feel more comfortable in the office. 	"Of course, yes.." she nodded her head and lead her way back to the office, pushing things aside. At least she had cleaned up in the time she'd been away. "You should listen." Henry moved into the room, pacing as he had often paced her office during his therapy sessions. Even before he knew about Edward. before he knew about Norah and Edward.

He stopped his pacing to turn to face her. "Edward's into some serious shit. I...he." He stumbled over the words. The whole thing sounded ridiculous, when he thought to say it out loud. "Have you heard from him?"

By now she was very used to Henry pacing back and forth in her office. In the other place he probably made a line in the carpet from all the back and forth. So she just watched him like she always did and waited for him to talk.

Of course he was into serious shit. Wasn't he always? But if Henry thought it was worse then when that woman made lines in his back then it was worse. "Heard? Um no. Well yes sort of. He said he wanted to talk to me but I wasn't around."

"He made a deal with the devil." Henry scrubbed his right hand over his face. "I know. I know it sounds crazy. But hear me out. It's like when I found the matchbook in my pocket, from the hotel in Paris, only...different. He's...He made a deal with the devil, Norah. He..." Henry pulled in a breath. He was starting to question his own sanity. "He has his own body, now."

Of course it sounded absolutely ridiculous but what was she supposed to say. "Wait, what?" she looked confused. "He.. has his own body? But how is that.. you're really serious aren't you?" It wasn't like he was joking but she had thought maybe he hit his head really hard this time. "The.. devil.. gave him his own body.." that was too weird her to wrap her head around. But then two guys in one body was bad enough.

"Killed you?" she seemed actually worried then except for the fact that he was okay and it seemed like Edward was too. "I.. you're not crazy Henry. Just try and breathe.." she got up to go get him some water. No, a drink. And really she could use one herself actually. "I've been.. talking to.. a patient sort of.. she's.. well I'm convinced she's not... human. She hasn't actually come right out and said it? But.." she trailed off. "This place is certainly strange. The man I was out with was telling me about vampires of all things. Here.." she handed him a glass. "So.. you're.. two separate people and.. I would imagine that asking the devil came with a very high price tag?"

Henry took the drink in both hands, and moved to sit. He probably wouldn't sit long, just long enough to sip the drink, without spilling it. "He. The demon. he wanted me to, you know. To effectively sell my soul to the devil. I said no. He did it anyway, because Edward had come to him, and Edward agreed to it. I don't know what it means. I don't know where Edward is, or anything."

She sipped on her own drink, watching him. "I'm glad you said no." She really hadn't hoped that Edward was that stupid but she supposed wrong. "So.. he.. took both of your souls? Or.. god I'm so confused.." she rubbed the bridge of her nose. "I can't imagine what you're going through. I can help with a lot of things but.. how to get over having your soul.. taken? I.. what can I do to help at least?"

Henry scratched at his head with both hands. "I don't know. I...I found this, in my pocket." Returning to the matchbook analogy, he withdrew a business card, bearing Crowley's name. "He said I'd have to check in, whatever the hell that means."

He sighed. "I almost wish I was crazy, so this wasn't really happening. Just when I thought I couldn't hate Edward any more, he found a way to make me hate him more."

Reaching out to take the business card, she looked it over. "Check in? I.. that's just.." she didn't know. She really didn't and she hated not being able to know things. Or figure things out. "I'm so sorry Henry.. so sorry."

She put her hand on top of his and gave it a small squeeze. "I know he wanted out.. you both wanted out but this is just. Couldn't he have asked the half that wouldn't want your soul or something? I'll do whatever I can do to help."

"You know Edward, Norah. He's got to prove he's the biggest bad ass." Henry tossed his drink back, swallowing it all in one gulp. "I don't know what I'd want you to do. I just. I want to be normal, and now maybe I can, for the most part. Without worrying he's going to wake up, or wondering what he's going to...do." His voice cracked, realising that now that he and Edward were separate, assuming he wasn't crazy and the whole thing was real, Edward could kill him without killing himself.

"I know.." she said sympathetically. Really she did know just as well as he did. "It sounds like you do have a real opportunity. No more .. waking up with strange women.." she blushed faintly. She swallowed a bit and looked away, not quite down at the ground but close enough. "Technically you don't.. even have to see me ever again if you don't want." Though she'd been his therapist, shed also lied to him on a number of occasions, and he probably thought she was as crazy as Edward. "You could be you.. happy I mean."

Slowly she nodded her head, still looking a bit embarrassed or away from him. "Oh I.. yes of course.." she gave a small smile. She didn't want him to worry or anything. "I'd be happy to continue.. your.. services. I.. I suppose you'll both be.. moving out then." She'd have to stay there by herself. Oh of course. "Maybe I should just move out too." It wasn't like she was attached to this place.

	For a moment she didn't say anything, just licked her lips and nodded. Finishing the rest of her drink, she nodded again. "All right. Then we'll both stay here. It's logical. 	That seemed to settle that then. "All right.." she started for the bedroom, or rather his bedroom to be specific. She toed off her shoes but left her clothes on so that she didn't make him feel uncomfortable or anything. Then she sat down on the end of the bed letting him get situated before she laid down. 	Henry pulled off his shirt, leaving his T-shirt and slacks on. He kicked off his shoes, stashed them under the bed, and lay down. He scooted over to make room for Norah to lay beside him. 	Carefully she laid down beside him and put her back to him, scooting closer a little towards him. She figured he'd need to either be held or hold someone else.
