Who: Carrie White, OTA
What: people watching
When: Weds. late afternoon
Where: outside of a restaurant in Washington D.C.

Carrie had done as Ms. Frost asked, she'd stayed on campus and completed her examinations, but once they were over, she spent her days using the portkey system to travel in and out of England. Anything for a change of scenery.

Currently, she was sitting at the outside section of a restaurant, picking at the remains of a hamburger, fries and a coke. In her lap was a book on religious cults and the psycology behind them, but she was only half focused on the pages. Right now, people watching seemed more interesting, especially with American politics, it was almost an escapism for her, figuring out other people and why they might be troubled, rather than broad over her own issues.

That didn't mean she was so distracted that she didn't even sense the person looking back at her.

Who: Carrie White and Elaine
What: helping get settled
Where: Leeds
When: soon after this conversation

It actually took Carrie a little longer to find the location: first for the area, than the town. Thankfully, once she found the area she was able to take a bus to the place from money she earned working at the university and sewing commissions.

She buried her hands into her jacket pockets against the wind. Once October came, the weather started turning chilly and for what wouldn't be the last time, she was glad that she was able to wear pants and not fear a scolding from her mother. She pulled her hat more onto her head as the wind blew her hair around in her face.

Once she found the street, she slowed down her walk, stopping when she saw a confused looking woman in a pink and black cowboy hat-it didn't look that odd to Carrie, rather something Firefly would like.

She stepped inside the restaurant.

Who: Carrie White and Johanna
What: watching the sun set
where: some roof top in london
When: after this

It was becoming almost a habit for Carrie, climbing up to one of the roofs of the campus building to people watch. She wore a jacket this time as the weather was starting to grow cooler, but other than that, she was rather comfortable sitting near the edge of the roof.

The sun was just starting to set, and along with the strong gusts of wind on the roof (Carrie was compelled to pull her hair back in a tail), it was almost like a world of her own.

Who: Aziraphale and Carrie
What: Chance meeting
When: Today
Where: London
Warnings: Not that I know of.

The angel Aziraphale had been missing from the London scene for a couple of weeks, though he doubted many would have noticed, aside from the teeny bopper kids who claimed to be fans of his music career. His manager had stated he was in seclusion, preparing for his upcoming tour.

The truth was, he'd been petitioning for a new face. It wasn't that he disliked the old one. He was rather fond of it. But he'd carried it for such a long time, and he felt a need for change. He'd gotten caught up in the red tape, and his request had taken a bit longer than he would have liked.

Finally sporting a new face, Zira made his way into the streets of London. He ran no risk of being recognised by his legions of fans, as they would have expected to see his other face. He felt good, then, walking through the shopping district, looking for just the right gift for Cassiel before he headed home.

Who: Carrie and Firefly
What: Carrie's having nightmares
When: Uhhh, nighttime.
Where: Firefly's dorm
Warnings: Nope!

Firefly had never really had bad nightmares before; sometimes she dreamt of the Smooze or the times her friends were enslaved or that time they were turned into evil dragons, sure, but they were never so bad she couldn't sleep. The only way she knew how to deal with this kinda thing was movies and junk food. It should be a nice movie, something wholesome and probably animated. There was a pretty big stash of Disney movies in a box by the TV, that would do nicely. Though she suspected that the movie wasn't very important, she guessed her new friend needed to talk more than anything.

Her roommate had gone somewhere for the night, said something about "getting laid," whatever that meant, so the dorm and its contents were all hers tonight. The dorm was mostly spotless. She spread out a tye-dye comforter on the couch, lit a candle that would fill the room with the scent of vanilla, and checked on the ice cream reserves- plenty of dairy in that little freezer. And just as she was satisfied that this room had no taste, smell, sight or sound that would further antagonize her friend, the buzzer sounded. She pressed the button that would let Carrie up, then opened the door. In Rainbow-Brite pajamas she waited in the doorway for Carrie to make it up the elevator and down the hall. Firefly was worried.

who: Carrie and God
What:  Outside therapy/study session
When: Friday noonish
Where: a park somewhere in London

It was only really due to Firefly that Carrie was getting any sleep at all. There was always something in the paper about the killings going on and it seemed that every other night gave Carrie nightmares. In her room and with some of the teachers, she was able to practice her ability in peace, but even she was able to feel the effects of cabin fever. The good thing about a big city as opposed to a small town in Maine was that people generally chose to ignore you as you went along-which was just fine in Carrie's opinion.

The day was cool, borderline chilly even though it was sunny outside, it gave Carrie the perfect excuse to wear a long sleeves and trousers. Still not used to wearing pants, there weren't any skirts in her wardrobe long enough to hide her skinny legs in.

She found her way to the park, choosing a bench that stood near a path and pulled out a novel she'd started reading. Between passages she would on occasion look up to see those passing her bench. It had to be admitted that while she herself preferred to be ignored, she enjoyed people watching-better to know before hand if they tried anything.

Who: Firefly and Carrie
What: Frisbee!
Where: A park in London
When: This afternoon
Warnings: Absolutely none!

It was a day with clear blue skies and fluffy white clouds, almost beautiful enough to rival the prettiest day in Ponyland. The sun reflected off the skyline of the city and made it glimmer so that instead of being an ugly stain on the blue horizon the buildings became more like a sparkling accent. All this day needed was a rainbow and it would be perfect.

Who: Carrie and Emma Frost
What: Moving out and moving in
Where:  England
When: Afternoon, shortly after Carrie's  Debut post
Warnings: unlikely

They weren't her clothes, the ones they gave her. A pair of jeans that had 'relaxed' on the label and a fitted t-shirt with a strange Asian design, momma never let her wear any sort of pants, claiming a woman who did so was an 'abomination'..but it was either this or the blue night gown she arrived in.  Carrie got dressed, leaving her blonde hair loose over her back, closing her eyes to fight back her mother's  voice in her heard.

'You tried to kill me momma.' she thought as she shoved her feet inside a pair of red ( always red) high tops. 'I'm dead to you.'

They let her wait in the waiting room, but she politely declined-she just wanted to wait by herself for a moment. She sat on the bed, a generic King James bible in her lap, but she was only half heartily reading it, switching her gaze to the large clock on the wall every other minute.

'It could be a trick.' said the nagging voice. 'Just want to get your hopes up...promise of a school..for..people like me.'  Ms. Frost said she was special..not wicked or evil.

She forced herself to stop worrying as she watched the door, the bible forgotten in her lap.
