Who: Alex and Belle
What: Celebrating Belle's birthday
Where: Someplace nice, and then their house
Warnings: Sex. Probably with a fair dose of gender swapping.

This was her favorite dress. Alex had bought it for her last Christmas, and she had only worn it a couple times since then. The fit was perfect, and showed off her body wonderfully.

They were going to the fanciest restaurant in town, to enjoy a night alone. The children were spending the evening with one of the girls from the weekly stitch and bitch. The plan was to pick them up on the way home from the restaurant, and hope that they were tired enough to go to sleep quickly when they got back. Luckily, there was a good deal of separation between the master bedroom and the one they'd given the kids, so even if they didn't fall asleep, they would at least be out of earshot.

Probably.

Belle laughed and shook her head. Four years she'd been with Alex. Not married, at least not yet, but it was around this time that they'd first become friends. She smiled at her memories, and gave her make-up one last glance before going to see if Alex was ready.

	He grinned and followed her, then led the way into the restaurant. When he gave his name, the host smiled and nodded and led them to their reserved table. "You arrived exactly on time, sir." The first surprise was a pre-prepared dish from her home, one of her old favorites, specially made, which arrived quickly along with white wine. Alex just grinned. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Belle raised her eyebrows, but followed, her arm wrapped around Alex's. The meal made her grin and she laughed, thanking the waiter. It smelled incredible. "Wow. I'm impressed." She noted, settling in a bit, taking a sip of the wine. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

He smiled and accepted a small black box from the waiter and set it in the middle of the table.

"You came along and changed my life, made it better than I could possibly imagine, and I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate it."

Inside the small box was a necklace made of silver, gold, and wood links. The wooden parts were obviously hand carved and were not that greatly done, but not terrible either. The wooden links all bore her name, crossed with his.

"I love you, Belladonna Rogan."

	She looked at it, touching it softly. "Dieu." Her voice was soft, her fingers caressing the necklace gently. "It's incredible." It flew out of the box, and settled around her neck, replacing the ruby pendant she'd been wearing. Her eyes met his, and she smiled widely, scooting closer to Alex, kissing him thoroughly. 	She nodded, and kissed him again. "Don't think I'd notice, cheri." But the food was too good to let it go cold, so she ate. For once, she didn't gulp it down as fast as she could, but she savored every bite, offering Alex a taste. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
