Who: Alex and Belle
What: Celebrating Belle's birthday
Where: Someplace nice, and then their house
Warnings: Sex. Probably with a fair dose of gender swapping.
This was her favorite dress. Alex had bought it for her last Christmas, and she had only worn it a couple times since then. The fit was perfect, and showed off her body wonderfully.
They were going to the fanciest restaurant in town, to enjoy a night alone. The children were spending the evening with one of the girls from the weekly stitch and bitch. The plan was to pick them up on the way home from the restaurant, and hope that they were tired enough to go to sleep quickly when they got back. Luckily, there was a good deal of separation between the master bedroom and the one they'd given the kids, so even if they didn't fall asleep, they would at least be out of earshot.
Probably.
Belle laughed and shook her head. Four years she'd been with Alex. Not married, at least not yet, but it was around this time that they'd first become friends. She smiled at her memories, and gave her make-up one last glance before going to see if Alex was ready. |

What: Moving in
Where: London

Warnings: Sex. So much sex.
Lorna looked through her dorm one last time, checking that she had everything packed. She knew she did, but she was nervous. Not about moving, so much, but about the change it would bring. She would have a longer commute to both school and work, and would be paying more in gas money if she didn't start flying more often.
Not that it was nearly enough reason to rethink what she was doing. She loved Alex, and wanted to be with him more than anything else in the world. Change was just a little scary, and she wasn't sure that she was ready for it.
But, ready or not, she was packed and ready to go. |

The twins had gone to stay the night with their respective friends for the weekend, leaving Stabler home alone. Very alone. He could have called Alex or Liv, but then he'd have to admit something was wrong and he couldn't do that. They'd push for a case and that's not what he wanted. So instead he'd begged his attacked to come and make him feel...okay. Useful in some way.
But until Keller got there, he'd stand in front of the mirror in his boxers in the bathroom with the door open, staring at himself. At the bruises. At his broken arm still in a cast. It was a stranger's face staring back at him with his own eyes and that was enough to keep him from looking away. |
