Warnings: Not likely, aside from the drinking and possibly recounting tales of the brothel on Tortuga.
Anne had seen that Teague had arrived, and as such knew that he'd be coming by for a visit soon enough.
How did she know it would be that night? Well, she had a sixth sense for houseguests, always had and this was nothing new. There was a fire in the fireplace, and she'd gotten the good liquor out of the basement. She was keeping an ear out for the door as she washed her dinner dishes, humming along with whatever Christmas song was on the radio, rather enjoying the sound of it over the rain outside. |
