Who: Até and Momos
Where: Their home in NYC
When: Backdated to before Thanksgiving.
What: Baking pie, and tasting fruit for the first time.
Warnings: It's likely.

Baking really wasn't quite as neat and orderly as cooking was, not by a long shot. There was a science to it, sure. But science or not, flour was messy. There was flour on the counters, flous on the floor, flour on the cabinets, and flour on her. She was smart enough to wear an apron over her jeans and tank top, and as far as she knew had kept most of it off her, but there were a few tel tale smudges on her face from where she'd rubbed her forehead. With a habitual scowl, she surveyed what she had done so far... along the long counter she'd worked on pie crusts, and had them all lined up ready to be filled. She had completed the pecan pies, the pumpkin pies, and the cream pies, and they were in various stages of baking/cooling/chilling.

Next... was fruit. She had no idea what she was doing there. She remembered grapes of course, but didn't think one made pie from that... Momos had said to start with apple. She opened the fridge and surveyed the contents, and wondered how long he'd be. She was tempted to start without him... the strawberries looking particularly tasty.
