Why: Oh God, do I need to list the reasons? He's obviously screwed up.
Rating: Dunno just yet. Likely to be very heartbreaking.
Lying to Remy was one thing. Lying to her that he was about to go see another woman was another. And it killed him inside just a little each time he recited said lie. He said he'd be fine, that he was just going to see about some things and to find her the best Mother's Day gift he could find. It was her first one, after all. He'd kissed her goodbye and he'd be home that night.
He had his plane take him to Los Angeles because he knew his body just couldn't handle the suit or that portkey thing right now. His arm was in a sling, and he looked a little better than he had the night before. He'd shaved and showered and the color had come back into his face. He was in pain, but he vowed he'd go see her with a clear head and apologize, if she'd even see him. He'd told her to leave her alone. She didn't want him in her life.
But Tony Stark was stubborn, and he knew both of them were hurting for different reasons, but there had to be some kind of resolution in this visit. He just couldn't let her fall to the wayside and not be there to catch her. He always had been. He arrived in Los Angeles in a couple of hours, and he could feel the knots in his stomach as the car took him to her residence. |

What: He needs her after finding out his family and friends are gone.

J'kob paced inside his living room, his fingers running through his hair. All of them were gone. Lor'nzo... he hadn't even had a chance to work things out and now he had disappeared. Marco gone too. Midalah, D'Kahn, K'nd'l. Sebastian seemed to still be here. He was the only one. His only cousin still here, but he had Amidala.
He had wanted to keep things friendly with the TARDIS but after she said she would do what he needed... he realized he just needed her. No matter where it took them, he needed her. He hoped she needed him in a way too. The door was open, waiting for her to get there. |

When: Tonight sometime after Pepper pushes Tony down the stairs.

Remy came down to the workshop, being as quiet as she could, though she didn't want to scare him or anything. She looked around for him, wondering exactly where Tony was. He was hurt, and though she should be angry, she just wanted him to feel better. She had a bag in her hands, full of doctorish supplies that would be needed to fix him up. She also had another couple of shots of morphine for him.
