Once Solvei finished talking to Kyle she had told Jules that Daddy was on his way over. The excitement in her little girl's eyes made her smile. Sol was also nervous and she felt like Julia could probably sense it too by the fact that she kept looking up at her from her coloring book. After Sol realized that she was pacing she stopped. If she kept it up there'd probably be a hole worn out in the carpet by the time Kyle got there.

She really wasn't nervous about how he was going to feel when he met Julia. There was no denying that she was her father's daughter. Even though she was petite and blond all other traits that her daughter had screamed Kyle at her. From her eyes to her charm she was her daddy's little girl.

What was she nervous about? Everything that had happened while he'd been gone working for the guardians. She had told Kyle that she wasn't mad. None of it was really his fault for being gone this long. But she was pissed. She had needed him and he hadn't been there for her. That's why she kept reminding herself that it wasn't his fault and it was just the guardians that he reported to. Since she'd never met them, it was kinda hard to blame them. She was sure that as soon as she saw him that everything would be okay.

A daughter. A lite girl. Not just any little girl, she was his and Solvei's. Their own family. The thought was terrifying and exciting at the same time. He didn't know if he had what it took to be a father, if he'd be able to handle the responsibility. Maybe he didn't but the one thing he was sure of was that he loved Sol and he was more than willing to try this out with her. To make up for all the time he was gone. He owed both of them so much.

He was soaring towards her place, he didn't want to wait any longer, once he saw the two of them everything would be okay. With a soft sound he landed on the ground outside of the balcony. His heart was pounding and his hands were sweating. He felt all kinds of nervous and excited.

"Solvei! Julia!" He called out both of their names as he looked up towards the balcony. He'd fly up there if he needed too. He wanted to see what his daughter looked like and he wanted to hold Sol.

Julia's head instantly picked up from her coloring book where she was working on a picture of Spongebob Squarepants. She heard Kyle's familiar voice from below the balcony and instantly she was on her feet. She glanced up at Solvei who was also rising from her spot in one of the living room chairs.

She was in too much of a hurry to wait for Solvei though and instead raced out onto the balcony, her face lighting up when she saw Kyle downstairs. She didn't wait another minute, just flew down the few feet down to meet Kyle on the ground. She flung herself into his arms and held onto him tight. She couldn't explain it, how confusing the last few days had been. Since she'd arrived she knew something was wrong and she knew that somehow she had to find her father. Kyle had this way of making everything okay again.

She wanted to explain to him how amazing and terrifying the last few days had been. How Dean was just a bitter, broken shell of the man she knew and Faith was more absentee than she'd ever. She wanted to tell him that Emily got hurt and that her cousins were missing in action. That Bobby had brown hair instead of grey. She wanted to tell him that her mother was pale and more withdrawn than she remembered.

She wanted to tell him a lot of things but she opted not to at the moment. Instead she slid away from him and back down to the ground as Solvei walked out through the downstairs door. She wanted them to have their reunion.
