I’ve recently been on a sojourn in the south pacific, which is to say that I may have gotten lost walking home one night and ended up in the big blue briny wet thing, only to be hoiked out again by a couple of beefcake islanders on a late-night fishing trip. Then I may also have decided that I liked this and decided to stay for a few lot of weeks.
Anyway, I'm back now, so anyone who missed me and/or my FANTASTIC RACK should come see me at work [address to The Snake Pit in New Orleans] I make the good drinks and I'm all full of tales of adventure. |

It's hard to grasp sometimes, how lives can vanish so quickly, so utterly. I wish I knew how to help, how to make things better. I don't.
I gave blood, I gave money, and then I ran out of ideas.
However, for anyone out there wanting to raise a glass, alcoholic or not, to those who were lost in the explosion, I'll be working at The Portkey in New York, [address], all evening, and the first round will be free. Extra free drinks for those working in emergency services, or who give blood today. |

Things are shaping up! I've met some nice people, got a job today, and found a new place to live.

So much for clean living.
Be in the wrong place at the wrong time, encounter a blue monster, get caught in an explosion, and wake up months later from a coma, without a job or any idea how you got into the hospital.
