So much for clean living.

Be in the wrong place at the wrong time, encounter a blue monster, get caught in an explosion, and wake up months later from a coma, without a job or any idea how you got into the hospital.

And now there is this forum... weird.

I sincerely hope I will get used to this life. It's mine, just different. Are you a newcomer to tis world, then? The forum seems to have this odd site attached to it and... well, I always knew all those strange people were different, but I figured they were aliens!

Now I know better, and it is kind of odd. Somehow, it feels weird, knowing a secret like that. if it is even a secret.

Yes and no, I'm new to 'this' world, but it's the same world that I once knew, before everything went to hell.

Aliens is a broad term, I've never met any 'little green men' or gray for that matter, but I have met people and creatures from other realms /dimensions as well. They think it's strange that we're not aware of other realms besides our own.

Don't apologize, it's nice to be able to talk to a fellow human about such things and not be thought of as crazy.

Get some caffeine and water, it'll help keep you alert and with you just waking up from a coma, there's the chance you may still have a minor concussion.

Oh, I'll be okay! They just released me from the hospital. I've been awake two days. Got a clean bill of health, even if I did lose a little weight.

oh they exist alright, sometimes you can recognize them, but usually you can't because they look human up until the point where they either mention their home realm or refer to you as 'mortal' or 'human'.

Bit of friendly advise, if you happen to see a being that's obviously 'not' human. Don't mention that fact out loud to them in anyway, and don't stare unless you're able to back it up. Pride and honor are common virtues among all sorts of peoples and usually the more 'super' or 'non' 'human' they appear the more violent they'll be towards you if they feel offended.

Seeing as we're both strangers here, I'm feeling friendly enough to take you out to lunch if you'd like, if only for the sake of comparing stories.
