So, uh. Hey.

I just got here, was heading home after doing the wings bit for a lady with twins. Can somebody, like, tell me what's what? I get that this isn't where I'm used to, and I know the Sovereign Lady's here, I can feel Her, but beyond that I'm kinda clueless. I don't know if my synagogue's here, or even where my favorite coffeehouse is. I need some help.

Oh yeah. I'm Gabriel, but most people call me Gabe. I'll probably meet a lot of you if I spend a lot of time here.

What're you apologising for, Miss Mary? No apologising. It's not a sin to fall in love with somebody. I guess it just kinda means that this world came about ... in a different way, I guess? Like, maybe there's another Mary, and another J somewhere?

And wait, Lucifer? Yeah, I'd be guessing that's pre-fall, otherwise I'm not thinking you'd suffer being around him. He was an okay guy pre-fall, if a little ... metro. Who'd you marry before, if you have a son with them?

It occurs to me I'm probably being an asshole, asking you all this, I'm the one who should be saying sorry. I'm just trying to catch up.

Yeah, there's a lot of people here who're sort of from the same place, but with subtle differences. I think that's how this goes. But I still love you, you're still family, and you're still coming over tonight. What's your favorite dinner? I'll make it.

He and I have been friends a long time, even when I was married to Thor and he was dating Justice. I don't know, he's my best friend. You'll like Toby, he can zap things like his daddy.
