If anyone sees a Kansas farm girl wearing some exceedingly shiny ruby slippers, could you tell me?

I have this distinct urge to punch her in the face, you see.

Sounds thrilling. Except... not.

I'm from Oz. As in 'the Magical Land of Oz'.

'Not' is definately closer to the truth. I've only been there the once, see, and it was rather by merit of a joke.

Oh, really now? Right, right, the girl and the shoes. I really should have put that together. My daughter loves the story.

And listen to me blather on. Crowley is the name, Anthony J Crowley.

It's a hell of a story. Some facts seem to have gotten muddled in translation though... especially in relation to my sister and I.

I'm Nessarose Thropp. In terms of your 'story', I suppose I'd be better known as 'the Wicked Witch of the East'.

Dearest, have you ever read the Christian Bible? I'm the Serpent of the Garden. In terms of Earth history, I am the first printed misrepresentation of character. I understand completely.

Pleased to meet you, Nessarose. I think I remember you saying you haven't been here long? Have you settled in?

I know that the Christians of this world are essentially the Unionists of Oz, so... I've read the Ozian version, at very least. My sister did always say that it was more lies than truth...

I've been here less than a week, and I have to admit I'm not quite settled in yet.

I have to say I'm not familiar with your version, but yes, most of the Book is essentially some drunken fools completely mishearing what the Word was supposed to be.

Well, if you're in need of anything, don't hesitate to ask- I've found myself in a bit of a charitable mood, lately.

Drunken fools write everything these days, I swear. No wonder we ended up with 'the Unnamed God'.

If I ever need anything, and my sister can't do it, I'll be sure to ask.

The Christian God is here. For all intents and purposes, She's actually quite... acceptable.

Oh, that's right. You and your sister are those of the gifted. Well, never hurts to offer.

She? God is female? Somehow, I always suspected that...

There are some things that even we can't do, Mr Crowley. I might need your help one day.

The Book says that God is male, and in truth, no Heavenly being has a designated gender. She felt like being female, so She is. Same way I prefer a male form, so I'm male.

Of course, dear girl. [Cell Phone Number]. Just let me know.
