BACK! Ok so I was already here but as a lot of you know I've been really slow the past couple weeks. My cousin was in town and so I was kinda busy. But we dropped him off today and he's back in Cali so I'm not as distracted! (Well I'm playing DAI AGAIN but just poke me if I lag too long). I also start work again Monday and as some of you may remember when I was at work before my surgery, break times and slow times = Replies! So yay!

So yea, new month! gonna kick all the ass!

HEY KIDS

So, the Agents have a meeting today. Yay Agents! And before I did anything, I really wanted some opinions from y'all.

OKAY SO

We can either do a rapid fire thread like we've done in the past, where we don't really post action, but just dialogue between characters to explore some potential plot ideas//direction.

OR

We can OOC discuss it! I just don't want to FORCE anyone into thread participation, you know?

Basically Jackson wants to discuss a few different areas, so that's the only reason I was thinking OOC (but is also sort of IC) discussion might be best?

He wants input on -

1) Training classes people have been going to - areas they feel they're lacking, if they want to add anything else, etc.
2) The idea of making agent missions mandatory instead of voluntary. In other words, if he feels your powers are best suited for something, and you're an agent, you're pretty much going. It's just difficult to run a set of agents when people are like 'but I have a coffee date that night!' Not that ANY OF YOU have done that//were planning on doing that, but in a real life situation where this is a 'voluntary' position, it could happen. But he wants it to be a discussion, not an all out policy. He's not looking to threaten or force something on people, more feel out the waters.
3) Where they want to go from here. In other words, as previously stated, the HFC isn't all that polished and well run, but if they continue to leave them alone, could they develop into a potential threat? Should they start hunting down major operators and trying to gain insight into their long term plans? Or should they be focusing on the government at large//finding more labs, etc, and not worry about the small fries rn.

I know I've spoken with a few of y'all already, but I don't wanna overburden anyone with threads.

So gotta ask... anyone want//think their char can handle a thread with Nora this evening?

My cousin came into town and we had my nephew for a couple days and we did and early Father's Day and birthday celebration for my brother and tonight is irl gaming. Hi everyone, I am Elle.

I am new to the journal format RP, so I guess that makes me a bit of a noob. Please don't throw anything at me, unless it tastes good or it's money. I have done other forms of RP so I'm good with most coding and I am seasoned, at least. Look at me selling myself.

I present to you Charlie King (no relation to a Miss George, hello girls with boyish names. Wow.) she is a pretty well rounded person. She's friendly, knows who she is and what she likes, she's warm and reliable, cares a little too much and is a homebody. She does have a temper on her if pushed too hard though. I can't wait to see how she grows here as she makes friends and enemies? Who knows.

She also has biological manipulation and power negation along with immortality, that she is unaware of. Better descriptions are under this link :).

I cannot get onto my email often at work, nor AIM so I recommend contacting me on my journal for most plot related issues. I will check my mail at least a couple of times each week though if you absolutely prefer that way.

Okay! So I've been back in town for a few days but only now doing RP stuff. And Toby has continued to be out of town in the meantime - hence his lack of presence on the network, even though he was able to respond to texts.

But he'll be back in town late April 13th, early April 14th. (And will probably go straight to the IT room because why not.)

This is Elliot Ryers, older brother of Hannah and Izzy. His powers are dream manipulation and astral projection. El is coming in as a Trustee for Logistics & Medical, after spending quite a few years cheating rich 1%ers out of their money he gave up the game thanks to family. All the money he made he stored off shore just collecting interest, only occasionally using some to invest in small (mostly mutant) start ups such as Soleil's practice she used to have. Now, thanks to her lead in Sanctuary needing Trustees, he's decided to put his money to good use (his sisters being there does a little to help his decision :D).

He's still got a lot of his 'skills' from when he was playing 'the game' (See his history for a bit more detail on what he did to get his money), which generally translates as being charming and trustworthy. He also can manipulate people's subconscious by screwing with their dreams (don't worry he only did it to the rich corrupt assholes). So basically that's Elliot in a nutshell. :D

SO!

After Robin received thissss outside of her door, there was a piercing scream. A couple, really. I mean, the whole dang building probably heard it and the sound of feet pounding back and forth as she hopped around and tried not to BURN them in her excitement.

:D Essentially, Robin is fangirling/simultaneously sounding like she's being murdered.

sorry i went on an accidental hiatus. work got insanely busy and i kept saying "i should post a hiatus" and i didn't. it's the weekend but i'm freakin exhausted and will still likely be slow to respond. :( however, by... wednesday evening ish i should be free and back to normal :)

Ok so I have to share this. Domino's been around for a long time, like almost a decade or more. Darren Criss is a relatively new PB for the muse (the original muse kinda got older and couldn't really pass for 21 anymore). BUT it worked out for the best! AND I had a moment of kismet when I watched this movie Girl Most Wanted. I wanna share with you all a sample of Domino-ness (It's not a perfect carbon copy, but it's pretty damn close).

Hi, hello! Charlie here, and with me I've got Lottie! I'm... I'm really bad at introducing things, so I'll try and make this brief so as to keep from running off on tangents?

First thing: I'm super duper chill but super duper anxious, simultaneously. I love any and all sorts of lines, platonic, brotps, lovehate, frenemies, whatever. Little tiny communications posts, ridiculously thought-out threads, I'm here for all of it! (Obviously)

Now, about Lottie: Lottie is not as chill as she lets on. Really. She is extremely friendly, and has a bad habit of trying to take on way too much responsibility for others (even if they didn't ask her to), and is surprisingly maternal (or at least it surprises her sometimes). Shes a big dork, and a huge Mutant Rights Activist (albeit from the shadows and the internet now more than anything else for everybody's safety). She's been... altogether pretty sheltered, which was afforded by a heck of a lot of money in her youth, and some of her views reflect that, even now. But she's slowly coming to grips with the fact that there's a lot more going on out there than she knew.

She's got a podcast, possibly one that she'd end up streaming live, if it had enough fans, but I'd love a co-commentator -- not for every episode, but someone who can give another view of, er, the Children of the Atom. Guest speaker threads could be a ton of fun, too. But obviously, not everything is going to revolve around her dorky podcast. She's a sci-fi fan, if you ever need someone to watch Star anything with you, she's got your back.

Hey all! I am disappearing to NYC for a little while starting tomorrow morning which means, lucky you, Toby is also disappearing from your friends page for awhile. I am not bringing my laptop - soooo it's hiatus time! I will have my phone with me, so if something goes down that I need to see, poke at me via email. I also have hangouts on my phone too.

Annnnnd despite his recent little kerfuffle, assuming that the powers-that-be allow it, it makes the most sense to say Toby took a few days off from work himself and disappeared on his own for awhile. (Assume he texted the relevant people to inform them of his impromptu trip. Unless you want your character to do a text convo with him to that effect, which I am COMPLETELY open to.) He is feeling pretty claustrophobic and just #done with all the other people around. His introvert batteries need some SERIOUS recharging, which Sanctuary just does not allow for. SO VACATION FOR TOBY TOO.

Hey guys, Nicole here with my fourth trouble maker. Dakota's a new arrival from New Mexico, and she knows Drifter, who gave her the heads up about Sanctuary. She's had a rough life and has always been a loner, but would really like to change that and make some connections here. She's a former stripper/escort/dealer with Pleasure Manipulation, Illusion, and Invisibility. Basically, she can get people aroused with just a smile, a touch does quite a bit more, and if they're not into her looks, she just disappears and their biggest fantasy appears. Which made her very very good at her old job. She's currently a waitress at the Red Door, and needs all the lines. She doesn't bite, unless your char is into that sort of thing.

Hey everyone, Lexi here with well, not the last one for a while I'm working on one more, THEN it will be the last one for a while :D.

I want to introduce you to my Tiny Powerhouse Verity Davenport (formally Bracks). Yup, she's Nate's ex. She's coming in as Head of Training/Part time Agent. She's was at New Haven kinda helping with training and escaped when the raid happened and went to Canada for a while. She's run with resistance cells of mutants for years, and is kinda a hard ass at times but that's only because she's super passionate about the cause. Hearing that Sanctuary needed help she's arriving to lead their Training department.

She's tiny (5'2" 119lbs) but don't let that fool you, she's strong. She can also manipulate her body which is why her age is hard to pin down, while she's in her 30s she looks anywhere between 17 & 27.

Anyhow beyond her one obvious connection, I'm up for any from New Haven or whatever. Her personality isn't always uber approachable as she either comes off a bit stuck up and prissy (at first glance) or intimidating and to the point (to those who talk to her), but those who give her a chance and get to know her get to know a more relaxed and casual side of her. She just doesn't always portray it in front of people she doesn't know.
