Just when I didn't think my life could get any more messed up, I'm walking into my new quarters on a strange planet, getting staffed in the face by my roommate. Not for the first time, either. That's the important part.

I'm fine.

Just wait until I tell you the rest of it. But I'll tell you and Poe together, when we get to the lowest level.

Only a few days, but I mean the rest of what I've learned about here.

I'll explain once we all have the chance to get something to eat and drink.

Poe should be waiting for us in the hall.

I don't blame you.

Has anyone ever told you the Jedi Code?

No. I wasn't aware there was a code.

Well, that makes sense, given what the Empire did. Basically, it's a set of rules that governs the Jedi -- it helps ground us, remind us what the Force is. It's a sort of mantra that many of us turn to during the darker hours.
There is no emotion, there is peace.
There is no ignorance, there is knowledge.
There is no passion, there is serenity.
There is no chaos, there is harmony.
There is no death, there is the Force.

It's important to know what it all means, but -- that's probably a better conversation to have in person. For now, if you still feel [...] distressed, try to focus on these words. Repeat them to yourself, allow them to take root.

Being around your friends should help. I'll be around if you need anything.
