Gwen looked around her, her eyes wide as she took in the sight of another PLANET. This was just weird. She'd traveled in time a bunch of times at this point, none of which ever was that normal, even if she had gotten used to it, but this was plain WEIRD. At least everyone here looked somewhat like what they looked like at home. She didn't see anything like what she would have envisioned a alien looking like. Maybe she needed to expand her definition of what an alien was based on this. Lesley would have a FIELD DAY. She wished she had thought to bring her phone with her, though likely there wasn't any way for her to contact her best friend anyway. Still, just knowing she could take pictures would be something of a comfort. Even if Lesley always believed her, this was a LOT to expect her to believe.
She paced around the holding area, feeling eyes on her, and feeling weird and alone. It probably wouldn't be so bad if she didn't look like an extra from Little House on the Praire, but of course she had to be pulled from the past. This dress wasn't nearly as nice as the one she wore to meet Count Saint-Germain. Honestly, as creepy as he was, she would have given anything to see someone familiar. Just as she was thinking that, she turned and walked straight into someone, tripping over them and falling on her face.
It was comforting to know she was still a klutz, even on other planets.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't see you," she said, before she realized how dumb it was to apologize for falling down. Way to be cool, Gwen.
