"A lot of them," Gwen said with a sigh, rubbing her forehead. "I've only just learned them all, even if I should have been training for this since birth. I mean, it was nice having a normal childhood, but my mum could have at least given me a HINT," she complained. She shook her head; her mum wasn't here, and that stung a bit. At least when she was traveling in time she knew she would always come back and her mum would be there. There was no one for her now.
She looked up at him and smiled. "Thanks. I appreciate that. I'm rather sick of having secrets, or people keeping secrets from me. I'm wearing this stupid dress because I had to go to 1912 to talk to my great-great grandmother, and as much as that SOUNDS like it doesn't make sense, it makes even LESS sense that my cousins would have come after me there...anyway, I'm more than happy to leave some secrets behind, thank you very much."
When he talked about powers, and then showed them, Gwen's eyes went wide. "Well! That's certainly impressive. I mean, my only other skill is talking to ghosts and demons, if you call that a skill. Yours looks like it would play better as a way to keep yourself safe."
