A question for the new year:

Is there anybody else here that's supposed to be dead?

I haven't seen my movie yet, but others have told me about it, and death by way of poisoning and flamethrower immolation is much more exotic than I would have imagined for myself, even on a moon light-years away from earth.

My situation's pretty similar. I was about to drink a cocktail that an android had poisoned to see what it would do to me.

It's.. um. Complicated for me. There's a lot of alternate universes or paths that exist where I die, or can die in several areas. So for some people I am, but in my world I live.


But regardless, a lot of us think of this place as a second chance.

Have you experienced these other places that you die? Or do you just know about them?

That's a nice thought. I've sort of just been thinking of it as what happens next for me. I know that I die, and I don't really like that, but at the same time, if I went back to that place, even knowing what I know now, I wouldn't change anything.

I'm not a medical professional, but at some point when your nerve endings are gone, I don't think that it really matters. Getting sick from the poison beforehand, though, if it's as bad as I think it would be-- that would've been a bitch to deal with.

Strictly speaking, no one who is thought dead in their source material is brought here from after their death--immortals, undead, and special cases withstanding. \

But I suppose, there are a number of residents here who have found out of a death which is happening perhaps sooner than they might like.
