If the Master happens to show up in time for New Year's, I'd like to request that a nice, cozy little space be put aside where he can't get into any trouble. I've only got the one life, and frankly, I'm getting a bit tired of him always popping back up. Mind you, it wouldn't be so bad if he weren't, well, bad. I do miss the old days. There was a time, believe it or not, when I could turn my back on him. Physically, I mean. He's always needed someone to not turn away emotionally. Which is getting into rather delicate territory, now that I thik of it, so I'd better stop right here before I get into any trouble. More trouble, that is.

	There was a rite of passage on Gallifrey for all of the young Time Lords. We were brought to the Untempered Schism, to look into it, to see the whole of time all at once.
