Never a dull moment around here, is there? Suppose that makes this a fitting place for me to be dropped in. Fashion Week, television programs returning to the telly, and all of it overshadowed by unpleasant events without origin. Ah, well! Could all be worse, I could be forced into experiencing the former firsthand! Hah!

Now, what's everyone up to this week? I'll be perusing schools to prove my ability to teach impressionable young minds.

	Everything well and in order, then? You are living the dream, as they say. Was Rose who suggested it, the teaching bit, though I've done a spot of it in my day. Could do anything, really. Rose is a clever one -- I need to reintroduce myself to her really. Last time we were here we got on well, she actually babysat for Amy and I quite often -- I'd listen to her advice if I were you.

As for teaching ~~I'd stay away from ethics~~ I think I'd take any kind of engineering class you were heading, myself.

You -- I mean -- you get on the internet at all? Seeing what people have to say about you, and that?

The cleverest girl, that Rose Tyler. I'm sure she'd be delighted to get reacquainted with you and the little one. I intend to! I shudder to think of the looks she'd give me if I did anything less.

Well. I don't know if I stumbled upon -- more like stepped in. It's a bit complicated, I think, actually. See -- I don't know how much you know about me, given the fact we haven't met. But, you know...

See, the thing with me is... I die a lot, I come back, I'm 2,000 years old, sort of -- I've more-or-less restarted the universe (It's complicated, and involves a mop) I shouldn't actually exist ~~I'm the last of~~ and uh, you know.

My daughter is half a Time Lord. Also, I punched Hitler. That really doesn't have anything to do with anything, but I'm never going to get tired of bringing that up. Which...see, it has some people thinking. Because all of that sounds a bit like, um, someone we both know. -- Someone we both know besides me, that is.

What unsettles me the most? There's so much that doesn't make sense about my life and Amy's. Growing up, her family disappearing into the cracks of a wall, restarted and unwinding our own timelines it -- what's unsettling is the fact it doesn't not make sense but...

Say it's true. Say I'm something like ~~You. A Time Lord~~ ... that. I mean, not to be insensitive, but there aren't a lot of options.

I will tell you this, Rory Pond. If you are what they theorize, if there is even the remote chance that it's possible, don't be curious. Think of what you've got, this human life you've fumbled to hang on to despite your years and fuzzy around the edges experiences that make it seem less than human.

I have been you, Rory. I've stashed away my memories, became human, led a life with mostly coherent memories that I could recall to some extent. What I am, what I do, that couldn't be ignored. I had to go back to this.

But, if I knew the sort of person I would be returning to... Oh, but then you're asking me, and I am still the last of the Time Lords even with Doctor Bow tie around.

So, my answer is that I don't have a proper answer, and I am sorry for that, very, very sorry.

Then again! A theory is just that, requires proof to substantiate it! I will have a further look into it for you, then perhaps I can give you a better answer. How's that?
