It's nice to get signal even out here. I'd like to thank Tony and Pepper again for giving me such a nice view of the city while dangling off the balcony ledge to get some air.

For those of us who grew up on Earth, or rather, a version of Earth - a little under 1% of the static that you see on your television set is a remnant of the Big Bang. If you were able to see microwave light instead of just visible light, the night sky would glow a bright, unforgiving white from the glowing heat of the ancient explosion. The atoms that make up your body are ancient as well, and recycled - so you are as much a part of Joan of Arc as you are Joseph Stalin. Humbling, somehow.

It's good getting perspective.

Because there are way weirder things to be talking about, but we're keeping things friendly and shallow?

Yeah, I did a little digging when I got here. Crazy to think I had more in common with another world's version of my dad than the one I actually sort of didn't really have anyway. You knew him?
