You have only yourself to blame if so -- better make it a good story with a fabulous ending.

Oh if it isn't my three favorite things. Guilt, good stories, and epic endings. I've got stacked stats in those three areas.

Then you should be well set to embark on this particular interesting adventure. It all seems very exciting and full of potential.

Oh, I've been on this particular adventure before. Well, the space part that is. It's more a continuous wibble wobbly path of interesting and adventure. Although really hoping this space part isn't just a remix because there's a whole lot of parts of the first one I'd like to rewrite.

How are you settling in on your brand new interesting? Have you found your room yet?

Dare I ask which parts need the rewriting?

I think they left out of the non-existent introductory speech how to find my room. I found this device in my pocket, but it didn't seem to come with instructions.

There's some departures I don't want to repeat and the ending scene change was meh. Plus murderous aliens with acid for blood can be skipped big time.

Ok, so, hello! I shall be your helpful guide. There's a chip in your hand (don't think too hard about how it go there, it's not a fun road, just hand wave that whole thing) that's got your room key on it. To find your room, wander the halls testing all the keypads until surprise! one opens to reveal your luxurious tiny room that is basically all bed.

I always recommend skipping the murderous aliens. House rule.

Don't think too much about what's going on, or why is it happening seems to be a trend that I'm hearing.

I mean, skipping the general murderous is a good house rule, but sometimes the murderous needs stopping or protecting people from it and then the whole avoiding thing gets thrown out the window.

Basically. There's certain just circumstances that can send you down that rabbit hole of overthinking if you're not careful that just keep sending those 'oh that's not good' tingles along your spine, so hey, how about them Mets?

Still better to avoid those situations whenever possible, otherwise you can get caught in unpleasant nonsense.

I'll try to resist the urge to overthink anything for the time being.

Unlucky for me, getting caught up in unpleasant nonsense is my fourth stacked stat. Or maybe my fatal flaw. Whichever one, it's in there and boy oh boy is it stuck good.

Lucky for you, there's at least plenty to do. Explore. Find food and drinks. Find that elusive room. Surprise your roommate. The possibilities are endless!

It seems we may share this in common. I promise you I do not seek it out, it finds me.

We have roommates?

Only the unpleasant kind at least. I have a very strong hunch that there's some seeking when it comes to that trouble in general category though.

Surprise! Literal. As maybe you don't. Maybe you lucked out and have only one bed or two beds and one is empty in your room. Or maybe there's a roomie there. You won't know until you take a peek behind door number three!

One does not want life to be boring. But general entertainment can suffice here.

And I suppose not a literal door number three, because it's not that simple to find one's room is it?

Y'know, I don't even know if they have a literal Room 3 here. I haven't explored enough. But if it does turn out to be the third room you try, you need to tell me because I have some lotto numbers I need to play.

Very well, you've been quite informative, so as a favor I will let you know if my luck might foreshadow yours.
