You mentioned how Shiro promised to take you up into space. Did he ever promise what type of ship

Hey, so I got a question. Might be a weird one.

Do we want to do a moon trip this weekend? Just pack up some provisions and see where adventure takes us?

The "mummy" costumes I saw here weren't that far off from smart desert wear.

You sound like you have a lot of bad luck in space.

The Jedi have a long history, and how things were taught over them probably varied. But the way I was taught, emotions aren't to be avoided altogether. But you don't let them rule you either. You have them. They're valid. Preferably don't let them get you killed or go on a murder spree or anything. Some of that comes from simply being aware of what you're feeling. If you don't know you're angry, you're more likely to fly off the handle over something small. It isn't all that easy, but if it were, I'd be a Jedi master instead of a knight.

And if it's okay with you, I can also... connect with you, to some extent. It's something I'm good at, and I do that a lot in meditation with my best friend. Being aware of each other in the Force.

We were fighting in space a lot which means lots of brush ups with bad stuff. Most of the time the bad luck didn't stick at least.

Now that sounds familiar. Not from one group I was part of, but others. The mission was more the be all and end all of the group I was with. Numbers were low, the enemy was vast, and life expectancy was low. Emotions and personal connections were weaknesses that could cause a mission to fail. Which wasn't completely wrong, but leaned more on complete control and less on understanding. Also, knight sounds better than master.

Connect in what kind of way?

That is the downside to space. Thankfully I learned how to breath less... well how to need to breath less. Saved my life.

As much as emotions and personal connections can endanger missions, they can also be the key to success. Plus, I don't think anyone can have complete control over what they're feeling; they can only have complete control over what they do. And being at peace with the fact that you'll be angry and sad and joyous and heartbroken and all of that is necessary to be able to do that. It takes understanding. Which, okay, philosophy discussions are also a thing. Oh yeah? I guess I just came into a system which had names. Didn't really consider them.

Through the Force, together. How tight a connection that is can vary. It can be sensing where the other person is, getting a feeling of their emotions, understanding to the point you can fight as a team without talking. And with my best friend, actually talking to each other inside our heads. But I've only done that with Anakin.
