"You see this hair? It's goddawful, and my neck is definitely not strong enough for this!" You might be able to see her squint one of her eyes behind her very plain mask which she now pointed at. "I thought I'd get something plain Jane. I mean look at this mask, right? But then I could barely get out of the stupid carriage, and my sister's out there trying to be a hero, and there's no scenario where this ends up okay. So... drinks!"

He offers her an arm to take her over to the bar, but probably after a little bit of talking/flirting, took off because he's not at the point where he's drinking again yet.
