	"How am I supposed to do anything in this dress? If I move or try to arrest someone, pages could rip...!" Really, she wasn't sure what sort of underwear she was wearing in this situation. There appeared to be some kind of corset under it all, but beyond that, she had no idea what kind of material it was made from. "We need to find a way to help these people." She'd planned for this night with another outfit, and it had a purse with a pen and a pad of paper. The only thing she had here was her dress and... no pen.

She stopped someone who carried a tray of drinks. "Excuse me. I'm sorry to bother you, but you don't happen to have a pen or another kind of writing instrument, do you?"

	The servant smiled politely to Amy and shrugged. "I'm so sorry, but I don't carry a quill. Have you tried pricking your finger?" After offering a drink, the servant continued circulating. Amy's eyes widened behind her mask. She slapped Jake's arm multiple times while he bellowed, then looked around the room with an awkward smile. "He's not usually — Yeah, he is. I'm sorry. He's just loud and obnoxious sometimes. Love you honey!"

Seemingly from out of nowhere, a person was standing just over their shoulders between them. "Please do not disturb the other guests."

The faerie yawned audibly, covering his mouth with a powdered hand for an oddly long time. It was clearly a ruse to tell them how boring they were.

"Oh. Okay, so — kidnapping is illegal and —"

Another intense and drawn out yawn. "I'm just so sorry. You're just dull. Can you skip to the part where I get to curse you?"

People usually didn't tell Jake he was boring. They usually thought he was too annoying to be boring.

"Curse us?!" Wait, focus on that part later. It took an effort to let that go and stay on track. "Look, we're with law enforcement here, and that means-- wait for it-- we enforce the law. And the law says you can't go taking people against their will, which you people have done. Not cool."

The fairy called over a Leia-like with a tray of drinks on them. He indicated that they take one, and the aura he gave off had a definite air of or else. Amy took a drink, still wide-eyed, but over being called boring. She'd been called boring and worse most of her life.

"Your people will be returned to you safely, if you complete the trials. Or else, they are the souls you owe us."

"But why did you take them in the first place?"

"My dear, you all wanted balls so badly."

Without thinking, Amy whispered, "You all wanted balls so badly, title of your sex... tape."
