Meanwhile, you want to see a frustrated magician? Alice began to realize, during her search for Julia, that there are duplicates. She's being very cool and antisocial, with a task oriented expression behind her bunny mask, and every time someone tries to divert her attention, her brows narrow further. She's whisking in and out of the crowd, searching, and once she comes across the painting that is housing a "Julia," she tries to use that trick to see through illusions (you know, Becky, this trick) and...it doesn't work.

"Fuck."

Julia in the painting tries to speak to Alice. Out of all the paintings, she looks the most lively and desperate to be saved. She mouths something to Alice, trying her best to keep her attention, beg her not to leave. There were a couple messages already painted on the canvas in her own bloody fingers, like she's on the other side of a mirror.

For Alice, however, because she's clever and can figure it out if she watches, Julia starts writing in metamath. A spell? Something that can help? Something that can prove to Alice who she is?

The only problem? Julia can't clean off the canvas. The more messages for help she writes, the more she paints over herself in red, and she can't clear it away.
