"I am who you see," the collected doubles spoke together again. But there was a flicker of surprise in the one speaking to Luke at the defiance and lack of discomfort. He released Luke's hand and inclined his head toward him. Well played, basically. It was hard to compete with a memory (many memories) of what Vader had already done, though not impossible.
