The doubles are excellent dance partners, and chat idly about learning in the Red Room. They're kind to Jarvis while he thinks they're the real Nadia, going on about how worried she is about trapped here, how she feared she'd never see him again. But once he starts trying to get away, her grip tightens and her words turn cruel. You should have known better than to turn your back in the store, it's your fault she was kidnapped in the first place. Of course you never deserved to have children of your own, look how quickly you already failed to protect Nadia. You're nothing like the Jarvis she knew back home.

The real Nadia looks on and is unable to do anything, trapped in a dance with her own partner. When she stares too long, she's spun the other direction, disoriented and unable to recognize anybody in the crowd.

Once it's all over and she's freed, Nadia will be overcome with relief. She'll try to keep Jarvis from crying, but one the edge of it herself. All she wants is to go home.

DANG! That's harsh!

While fake!Nadia is throwing around her accusations, Edwin will at first believe her, since he's already riddled with guilt, asking for forgiveness ... and yes, once he tried to get her away, and the double resisted, then it would begin to dawn on him. After the second time he was fooled, he'd be more wary of the subsequent doubles he came across, immediately being suspicious right off the bat, checking for proof that she was real before falling for her tricks.

It would still hurt like hell, emotionally.

Afterward, even though Jarvis is close to crying, he'll also stay strong for Nadia's sake, because she needs him. He'll take her home, make her a hot cup of cocoa, sit with her until she goes to bed.
