How about we do a little roleplay? (And not that kind, there's kids on this thing.)

It's the middle of the night. Evee's been whining for twenty minutes to be let out. You're taking a walk with her. Evee is not using the bathroom and you're getting a little impatient. You hear blood curdling screams from somewhere in a clump of trees. You have no light on you. There are no birds within the clump of trees with which to see. Your phone's flashlight does not work. What do you do?

a. Call the police.
b. Call someone from the compound to come check it out with you.
c. Run in headfirst into the darkness to check it out.
