My name is Peter Parker. I'm fifteen years old. I'm pretty quiet and won't cause any problems. Seriously you won't even notice I'm there. I need a guardian before I can leave so if you've got a spare couch or anything I'd really appreciate it.

I mean, people make mistakes. And sometimes they fight you when you’re just trying to help them but

You still shouldn’t break the law and steal things or punch Iron Man. Those kinda seem like basic “bad” stuff.

For the record I didn’t steal steal Cap’s shield I just took it away from him so he wouldn’t use it to hurt anyone. Just thought I’d clarify that, sir.

See that’s just your criminal mindset talking. Also you didn’t punch him you were punch a girl so that’s kind of worse. I mean, I think Black Widow would have probably won if like the freaky red lady hadn’t throw her into the air but yeah.

No, it's not okay. You're a kid. Anything that split the Avengers down the middle like you're saying isn't the sort of thing a kid should get caught up in. I don't care what you can do. Last time we got in a fight with each other, Tony accidentally made a killer robot that tried to destroy the entire world and people died.

No! No. See Mr. Stark was just trying to help people but the robot had the alien technology left by Loki and Mr. Stark didn’t know it was going to hurt people. And as soon as he knew he tried to stop it with the other Avengers. So

I’m not just a kid. I can help people so I should. And Mr. Stark asked for my help so I did. That’s just what you do when you can do the things I can do.

I can't believe I'm about to say this.

The stuff that happened with Ultron? You can't lay that at Loki's feet. Might be easy, I know, and believe me when I say I'm tempted, but Tony decided on his own to make Ultron. Without telling the rest of us.

When you've got skills like that, or powers like yours, you don't get to just dive in and tell yourself, "I'm doing the right thing," and nothing's your fault if it goes wrong when you didn't expect it to.

I don't know what the accords are, but I already don't like the sound of them.

Look. Whatever happens when you're from, I haven't lived it yet. Far as I'm concerned, you could use some friends around here, so I'm here, if you want. And I've got a couple of kids you might be seeing at school, though they're both younger than you, but I figure they'd probably like to make friends too. So keep that in mind, okay?

Thanks. Tony’s making waffles. I think it’s the only thing he knows how to cook right now. I’m going to show him how to make grilled cheese with it. It’s pretty easy.
