My name is Peter Parker. I'm fifteen years old. I'm pretty quiet and won't cause any problems. Seriously you won't even notice I'm there. I need a guardian before I can leave so if you've got a spare couch or anything I'd really appreciate it.

It's a little off-putting and scary on how many people know not just your identity and your name but also your entire backstory, but... you get used to it at some point.

Hey, as someone's whose backstory since the 1970s was "Spider-Man's girlfriend who knows nothing about his identity and gets murdered in every story", I get it. Trust me.

But eventually you find a support group of sorts among us displaced and it helps a lot.

Okay, well. No one will let you get murdered here. So that’s good I guess. How many times have you been murdered? Do you remember being murdered? Did someone find out my identity? Are you going to be murdered now? Who murders you? Is it different bad guys every time? Is your dad a bad guy, too?
