Working shifts at the fort has been quieter than I expected. I end up spending most of my time cleaning up and trying to make the place look even remotely hospitable. Hope that's alright with the rest of you who work the ward there. Medicine in this time is so primitive, I'm not even sure how you all practice.

I'm thinking of seeing about taking on some shifts at the hospital as well, though I'd probably come into contact with actual patients there. That's the one downside to practicing medicine.

	Exams and vaccines for newcomers, doing some lab work analysis... There hardly seem to be any newcomers during my shifts, but I'm just as happy to analyze the blood work or whatever else they've gotten from the new people. Ms. Carter suggested that. From what I've noticed in the short time I've been here is that most new arrivals show up on Saturdays and Tuesdays. Then you've got stragglers like me, who came through the portal on an odd Thursday.

That would be Tony. Actually, Tonys - there's two of them, from separate universes, one older than the other. Both geniuses. If anybody could make a tricorder, it would be them.
