Who: Sonya Blade and Tyrion Lannister What: chance encounter When: Now Where: The forge Rating: TBD
The good thing about working in the forge was, while most of it could be considered busy work, it was work that still required focus and didn't leave much room for pondering or day dreaming.
Sonya's talk with Daenerys reminded her (as she reminded herself every day) that she'd been in this god forsaken ship for over a year and still no word from her friends and certainly no one from home arriving. Of course they told her that she would eventually go back to just the time she was taken, but there was always a part of her that nagged that there was no proof of that, and that for all she knew her realm was ravaged and her friends dead or gone missing.
Her current project for the time being was a small dagger, the edges needing to be sharpened and honed. Not hard work, but she was getting closer to learning how to forge actual weapons. She forced herself to hammer it as a steady pace: not too hard or too fast.
Forge work could be boring at times, but it was better than being idle.
