"Well I would say that I am neither, and perhaps both" he smiled slightly. "I am neither Captain of this ship not fool but I am lost, and unknowing, and far from silent. I simply am" he replied before taking a drink.
Tyrion wasn't entirely sure what the police were but he could take a rather well educated guess. And he was sure he had just read something about police in the library. Law enforcement. Tyrion hadn't meant to bring up such a painful memory. After all, he had no idea in advance. But now he knew. He also knew that people died, and that was the way of things. It didn't make things any easier but he came from a very cruel world.
Tyrion lowered his cup. "I do apologise" he replied. "To... your brother then!" he said, raising his cup again. There was a look of pity in his strange eyes as he looked up to her. "You live now... You. You have his memory with you. Keep that. Let it become part of you and never let anyone tell you any different" he said, nodding.
