The little Lannister was getting quite drunk now. Maybe it was the heat from the forge that helped his intoxication along that little bit further but the wine was going to his head a little quicker than usual. Or maybe it was this other worldly wine. Maybe it was stronger?
"The years don't matter" he replied simply, waving a hand airily. "Time's passing has no weight on loss" he added. "If there is one thing from my House you should remember... it's that a Lannister always pays his debts. Now you should really think about what that means" he explained. "Most people simply assume it only has to do with gold and silver. But... that is not the case. We repay what is owe. Always" he nodded, before drinking again. "It makes life... a little easier" he said with a sad smile. His head tilted to the side a touch as he looked at her.
"I don't think you to be a fool" he said, shaking his head, his brow furrowing. "No, no... not a fool. But I don't doubt the second" he said, smiling gently. "What are you like with a sword in your hand?" he asked her.
