Yuuka walked quietly up to the sign. In her hands, a large sunflower in a pot, which she sets on the ground next to her. She smiles, and looks up at the sun. "My, such a beautiful day, even in this urban setting."
She looks over at the sign, and smiles again. "Ask a question. A quaint tradition. I suppose I shall partake in it. What would you say is your favorite place in nature? Not a single location, but rather, a locale, be it forest or prairie." |

Envy's back and he's perched on a random bar stool out near the sign. He's feeling frustrated at the lack of cooperation on the parts of the various Edwards inhabiting the Nexus on getting to where he could corner them alone, and he feels like expressing it.
"I like a challenge as much as anyone else, but things have been... irritating lately. So. What to do when that's have gone from simply interesting to annoying? Giving up isn't really an option." |

Bakura has been wandering around the Nexus, having pickpocketed a map of downtown and some apples from a farmer's market stand in the downtown Nexus. He has found a few portals back to various places in his world and he has dragged some gold Roman lira back from his stash in Egypt in case he needs money.
He situates himself by the sign, on the ground, realizing it is the beginning of fall and starting to miss Ryou very much. Not that Ryou ever saw his face, but at least Ryou had been grateful there was someone keeping Zorc from completely ruining Ryou's mind. Ryou's birthday had been a few days ago, on Sept 2nd.
Bakura watches the passerby for a few minutes and sighs, then asks his question. "How do you get by if people you love aren't there anymore? I never could figure out how." |

| Whoops. what happens when someone can't read the Sign? |

Bakura has been hanging out in the Nexus, because he can't read the Sign. He knows it is big, shiny and blinky, and try as he might pick his memory of Ryou's brain and all the things he learned about signs while tagging along with Zorc inside Ryou's head, he can only get the word "question" out of the sign. So he decides to, indeed, question this.
"Okay, I'm fed up with this. What does that say?" he says, pointing to the Sign. |

This is Akane's second trip to the Nexus and this time she's wearing her school uniform, her magic wand is tucked in her school bag which she is holding behind her back. She looked troubled, or she would look troubled if she wasn't wearing a medical face mask over her mouth. She was staring up at the sign almost fixedly as if she was hoping that it or someone close by might have a miraculous answer to her question. There was an air of discomfort about her as well, she was rocking from one foot to the other.
"Um...so...well...this might be a little strange but...it would be better than asking Takeo-sempai anyway..." her voice sounds a little muffled behind the mask, "...so...hiccups I need a remedy...I've tried everything, drinking water, holding my breath, swallowing sugar...but...these aren't normal hiccups...these hiccups are...magical...so a cure for hiccups?"
[ooc: Forgot to mention, yes Akane has a case of the magical hiccups, so anyone around her may or may not be affected by her magic. Her magic has a wide range of effects, including changing the physical forms of others. So anything can happen, you're welcome to BYOB or Akane will magic up a random magical situation.] |
