Envy's back and he's perched on a random bar stool out near the sign. He's feeling frustrated at the lack of cooperation on the parts of the various Edwards inhabiting the Nexus on getting to where he could corner them alone, and he feels like expressing it.
"I like a challenge as much as anyone else, but things have been... irritating lately. So. What to do when that's have gone from simply interesting to annoying? Giving up isn't really an option." |

Envy had actually found the Nexus a few days before and elected to check things out before obeying the sign.
He leans against the sign, and keeps an eye out for responders. "What do people think about pets?" |

You might not know of the holiday, but you might have noticed the increase in the amount of green around some areas of the Nexus (no, not the forests, those don't count), and maybe the deals on various forms of alcohol as well. For today (by...someone's calendar) is Saint Patrick's Day, the excuse widely used to get absolutely smashed on oddly-colored beer and flirt with red-heads everywhere! However if you're not wearing green on this most wonderful of days...
You might get a pinch. Not in any specific place--maybe your arm, maybe your side, maybe somewhere else. But there doesn't seem to be anyone doing it--at least, no one visible on any spectrum. And if you're especially unlucky, you get to have a red-clad victim of this prank suddenly whirl around to stiffly glare at you for your perceived slight.
So, Nexus. WHAT DO.

Paul usually sat in the gardens of the Elric Apartments with his Bible, studying its words, but today, he was at the sign. And he was pacing a big while he reads, fingering his rosary like worry beads. "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends," he finally said. "John, fifteen, thirteen."
He sighed, closing the book, careful of a piece of paper that tried to flutter out from somewhere in the early Old Testament. "These are noble words to live by, but terribly frightening. There are terrible things going on in my homeland right now, and I am in a unique position to try to help before it gets worse. But I have been advised to stay here for my own safety. What would you do in my position?" |

Envy has been silent and keeping his head down in the Nexus since he got here about a month ago- Envy's not exactly the sort to go diving headfirst into something unknown, and since this is Envy we're talking about- shapeshifter and forever-people-watcher, it's doubtful he's been noticed.
However, he thinks things are getting boring around here. So it's time to get a question out there that will stir up rants and drama.
Best subject- coworkers everyone hates. Envy perches up on the lower edge of the sign's base. "You know that coworker everybody hates? Whaddya do with them besides kill them?" |

A long unused portal finds itself in use once again, although this time it's a completely different individual discovering it. "What the fuck?"
The figure squints at the sign that's assaulting his eyes before scowling at the Nexus in general. "A question huh? Well, I've got one alright. Anyone seen any short blond brats running around?"
