Georgia looks distracted. At least she had problems sitting in one place for long. "Anyone have a map of the portals that lead here? Because I've been here a while and I would really like to go home and tell Shaun that I'm still among the living. Or any other way for me to get back home?" |

While Jade took a couple pictures of the sign and the locals, Double H looked around, wandering not far from Jade's side as he looked for possible threats. Military habits died hard, even though the war was over
"Jade, this area seems safe enough."
"Right." She pointed her camera back up at the sign. "Ooh, is that sign awful. Who put that there?"
Double H smiled. "You could always ask, like it says."
Jade rolled her eyes. "Leave it to you to state the obvious." She lowered her camera and looked at the passerbys. "This is weird. Okay, does anyone know where that sign came from? And I suppose while I'm at it, how do you deal with peacetime boredom?" |

Bakura has been wandering around the Nexus, having pickpocketed a map of downtown and some apples from a farmer's market stand in the downtown Nexus. He has found a few portals back to various places in his world and he has dragged some gold Roman lira back from his stash in Egypt in case he needs money.
He situates himself by the sign, on the ground, realizing it is the beginning of fall and starting to miss Ryou very much. Not that Ryou ever saw his face, but at least Ryou had been grateful there was someone keeping Zorc from completely ruining Ryou's mind. Ryou's birthday had been a few days ago, on Sept 2nd.
Bakura watches the passerby for a few minutes and sighs, then asks his question. "How do you get by if people you love aren't there anymore? I never could figure out how." |

Look who's back! The Edward that has a tendency to chew at his lips when he's talking (quietly) was sitting on a Convenient Nexus Couch, legs curled up to his chest, folding him up like an accordian. He was frowning in consternation as he considered his question.
"Is anyone here a storyteller?" he finally asked. "I'm working on something back home, and I'm afraid I'm coming across as really boring to listen to." |
