Elsie al-Rahim (Lady al-Rahim, okay, but she'll be a doctor soon!) has made her way to the nexus today, and apparently there's something on her mind. It's probably not too serious -- all the tell tale "oh god Elizabeth is STRESSING" signs are conspicuously absent -- but whatever it is, you're all about to find out! She's playing with a little pendant (not the one she's wearing), and looking thoughtful.
"Nexus! Hi, everyone." Friendly! "I'd like to know...if you find out that someone you're acquainted with through them working in your home...less than forthcoming about how well he knows your alternates, what would you do? Say no one had asked him, and he chose not to offer the information. You have reason to consider him trustworthy. Would you say anything about it...? Is someone's relationship with your alternate any of your business if it so far hasn't affected their relationship with you?" |

Watch this space.
Are you watching it? Good. Because now it has something in. A someone, to be specific, a small and rather surprised looking someone who appears out of nowhere...three feet from the floor. Unfortunately, she doesn't seem to be able to fly, and hits the ground palms first with a sharp cry.
She collects herself and gets to her feet in a hurry, glancing wildly around the nexus with a look of near-panic. Her eyes settle on the sign, and Madeline blurts out the first thing she can think of:
"What's-" She glances behind her. "-what's your favorite color?" |
