Teams: SHIELD

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
They're not superheroes. Covert government agents secretly dealing with the most dangerous of threats, SHIELD operatives work on the fringes of the law without the fanfare and recognition of mainstream superheroes. The best agents work individually or in pairs, often working undercover.

Teams: Avengers

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
With an ever-changing roster, the Avengers serve more as a concept and ideal than a concrete team. Working hand in hand with SHIELD and the United States government, the Avengers are the paragons of the superhero community, the public defenders of New York City. The pay is good, the benefits are excellent, and the housing is great if you can stand to live together with your teammates. Those who serve with the Avengers serve in the spirit of the greatest superheroes of all time: Captain America, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Ms. Marvel, Thor, and many others. They're upheld as the standard to which others aspire, and are considered to be the city's "sanctioned" defense force, unlike street vigilantes.

Due to current game constraints, all Avengers-affiliated SB characters are former members. Comment with the following format to add your character's details.

Teams: X-School Training

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
The students at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters are required to train in the use of their powers, as well as in powers-related teamwork. Though not strictly training to be superheroes, rescue, combat, and survival missions are common. In the event that the school is attacked or more reserves are needed, students may be assigned to combat roles. Training teams double as physical education classes, so these teams are larger than X-Men squadrons.

As of January, 2013, students are allowed to switch teams if they feel like they haven't meshed with the team over the course of the 2012 fall semester.

Teams: X-Men

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
The X-Men are a group of superheroes acting out of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters in Salem Center, New York. Though once exclusively a group of mutants, Xavier's has opened up to the superhero community at large. Due to large numbers and shifting rosters, the X-Men tend to operate in small squads rather than as a whole.

These days, members of the X-Men are usually seen as reserve teams, being sent out on occasional special assignments or to assist major events in New York City.
