As Ms. Menides has stated, there has been an event at the school. When whatever it was that happened happened, I was shut out from the school. Some students may have been too. As you all probably have noticed, we have another situation on our hands. A curse has been unleashed on the school grounds, making it a perpetual night. As such, I implore all our students that aren't weres to carry a piece of silver. Our weres are well-behaved, but a full moon of this size might make them act out some.
A bit more precarious is the fact that we seem to be, for all intents and purposes, locked inside the sphere of the curse. Don't venture too deeply into the shadows at the border: you will only be knocked unconscious. I have had contact with people outside the of the curse, so we're not cut off from all communications.
We're working on breaking the curse and should soon have a solution. Do not fret, we have enough food and water to tide us over for a good long while. Even so, I expect this shall be solved before Monday.
I implore you all to keep calm and aid your peers who are more... affected by the lunar cycle. If you have any questions or oddities to report, my office is always open.
