Outside the Headmistress's office, the voting booths were ready to go all during classes. Instructions were given to students who had never voted in an election before. It was pretty simple. The names of the candidates and the office they were running for was listed on a ballot and inside each booth was a star shaped hole punch. Students need simply to punch next to the name they voted for. Only one name per office was allowed on each ballot. The system was monitored by Ms. Stheno and she kept order with the help of the Student Council. If that wasn't enough, the Headmistress herself had her office door open and kept an eye on the proceedings.

Every student was given an opportunity to come to the booths and cast their vote. No one was excluded, but no one was forced to step into the private booth. Those students who opted out of voting simply stayed in class and waited for their classmates to return from the voting.

At the close of classes on Monday, the polls would close. Votes were counted. The winners would be announced Tuesday morning in first period.
