Thread: Post-Spidpocalypse
WHO: Cressida, Micah, & Open to Other Staff
WHEN: The Monday morning after the spider invasion at Ladon dorms
WHERE: Faculty Lounge
Everyone in the school knew about it by now. The screams and shouting coming from Ladon house were a sign to many that something happened. Not everyone in that house were scared, but a majority of them were throwing fits about spiders. Spiders that became pouring out of every possible opening. Most of them were small, from what she heard, but the sheer number made them just as bad as if it'd only been a few larger ones. She had a very strong suspicion of who was responsible for it. However, it was a truth universally known among the staff that Hydra students didn't do things "together" and they flourished on their own. Most of the time. The few times that Hydra students did work together, and truly worked together, they were an absolute terror. Case in point: Ladon House's current spider epidemic. It had extended well into Sunday night from what Cressida heard and by the time the sun was rising, most of the spiders were gone. She gathered that much from other staff members discussing it, as she was not still awake to bear witness to whether or not the spiders were still a colossal problem. Some students had shown up to classes sporting a couple of spiders in their hair and other Ladons moved to crowd near the closest exits, as if they were expecting another horde of spiders to appear. Cressida didn't approve of attacking the students of Ladon, but she could easily decipher what the result was. Leave it to a Hydra to focus on an end justifying the means. When a figure shuffled into the room, some of the chatter from the other staff members died and Cressida looked up from her lesson plans to see Micah. He looked like he hadn't slept a wink. That was a pity, considering that she had a very restful night, as did her own students who were all in their dorms before curfew began. Even the vampires. Sure, they didn't need the sleep, but they remained in their rooms, minding their own business, as they often seemed to do. A couple of staff members left the lounge as Micah sat in his chair. Cressida didn't say anything at first. She merely observed. Knowing Micah was a bear who normally spent most of the winter asleep, even with spring drawing gradually closer, he still required sleep. He didn't get much the night before and it showed. "Bad night?" she asked finally, taking a drink of her tea in order to hide the somewhat satisfied smirk that curled onto her painted lips. |
