Kaden watched her deviously yet innocently drink her tea, but couldn't detect any outright deception. Besides, he tried to reason with the bear inside him, it wasn't like Cress to outright lie. If this had been her doing, she wouldn't deny it. She may not come out and say it, but she wouldn't deny it, either. It didn't rule out the possibility that she still had something to do with it, but Kaden wasn't very good at getting people to give themselves up. Especially not Hydras.
Hydras.
Kaden blinked. Immediately he shot the idea down. There was no way Hydra House was behind this. It would mean a pretty large cooperative effort on their part, secret and quiet and it just wasn't like Hydra. They liked to do things on their own and didn't like accepting help. They also had a lot of pride in their own accomplishments and had this been Hydra student's doing, someone would be bragging about it somewhere.
"Mint and Chrysanthemum, thanks for the tip," Micah muttered, hunching over his coffee. He didn't even know where to start looking for evidence on solving this one. Maybe a monetary prize would bring out some secrets.
