The playground of the forgotten goddess.

Toto, this doesn't quite seem like Kansas anymore. The island is far from the world you remember. This isn't your home, this isn't even Earth from as far as you can tell. But why? How did you get here? It seems the whims of an unknown and forgotten goddess has decided to make you her plaything, dragging you from your world and timeline and placing you on an inescapable island. Welcome to Twisted Island, where anything can happen and it usually does.
The island changes with the mood of the goddess. It’s her playground and you are one of the very many toys in it. But you’re not alone. There are others stuck on the island just like you and if you’re lucky the goddess didn't just steal you away, but friends and family you know as well. Best idea though? Make friends, powerful friends. Make sure there are people to watch your back because when the island starts to change, you're going to need every little bit of help you can get.
Will you survive, or will you give up and break under the pressure? Apply and become one of the many playthings that the goddess loves to toy with on Twisted Island. Welcome to Foreshock. The year is 1992 in the urban metropolis of Midgar. ShinRa Electric Power Company has won in their war against Wutai, but not without considerable losses. Many of their operatives were killed, captured, or simply went missing in action. ShinRa's enemies are small but rapidly growing, as the company's reactors and policies come under fire from a growing threat in the guise of radical anti-ShinRa environmentalist groups.ShinRa needs you to help fight the encroaching enmity, and uphold its values and goals in providing the Shining City on a Hill for the population of Midgar.
Come join us in Foreshock, a liveJournal roleplay based on the world of Final Fantasy VII. The story begins about seven years prior to the beginning of the original game and is based around (but by no means limited to) the events of Crisis Core. Please Insert Disc 5! ( click for banner )Please Insert Disc 5 (PID5) is a crossover RPG set in Balamb Garden ofthe Final Fantasy VIII world. It has been a year since the final battleagainst Ultimecia and things are starting to get normal again. Newstudents are pouring in from all over the world. New teachers are beinghired to accommodate the increased student body. Among them arefamiliar faces. This isn't one of those, "you wake up in anotherworld and can't return," games. Your character was literally born andraised in this world. Any Final Fantasy character is game, but they arenot the same character as seen in their original game. These arealternate versions with slightly different experiences but the samebasic personality. All VIII characters will, of course, be canon, butthe others have different roles to play. Of course, this doesn'tmean that all of the friendships/rivalries/etc. are null and void nowin this world. FFVII characters will be from the same area of the worldand thus have more of an opportunity to have made those connections,should the players choose. The same goes for the other games as well.Feel free to have a little fun with it!

Ah, this is one of my few older Alfay fics that I can still stand. Experiemental, slightly surrealistic erotica ftw. XD Actually, I wrote this mostly as a statement against the irritating Fayt-as-weepy-uke sterotype that sometimes haunts the pairing. Although sometimes I think I like this fic if only for the clever line about why Albel likes foreplay so much.
Oh yeah, it's been cross-posted a couple times, so if it's familar...um, sorry?

Yo, joined this commnity because I couldn't find one for the SO:3 fandom or Alfay shipping.
*sobs*
I'd make one myself but I'm afraid that the fandom might be so obscure that no one will bother with it.
Annnnyyywaaayyy....I'll be posting mostly for that fandom and may also cross-post FF7 fics and drabbles to this comm as well. I primarily write for the AlbelxFayt pairing and am returning to the fandom after a long hiatus. Reading my old fics prompted me to want to write for the boys again. In retrospect, I'm not very happy with most of them and I want to do the pairing justice. |

So...I've apparently been kinda out of touch with this game. The last time I heard, it was due for North American release on January 5th, which stuck in my mind because it's the day before my wife's birthday. She's obsessed with Zack, so this was a Really Big Deal. I went to the store on Saturday to reserve a copy, to make sure that I would have it for her birthday, and now they're saying that the release date is sometime in March. So my question is, what's going on? Has anyone heard what's wrong with the game that's causing the release date to be pushed back so many times? It's already been out in Japan for some time - in fact, since I live in Vancouver I could walk out to the mall right now and buy a copy if I didn't want to actually be able to understand what anyone was saying. Any and all rumours about the game are welcome *grins* Discuss. |
