Mary refused to admit it, but she was stressed. Stressed and worried and tired. It was starting to wear on her but she had to keep it together. She had been trying to deal with the apartment while Stevie kept an eye on her dad. She kept going back and forth on whether it would be better to pick up and put away the little things Max had left around or leave them as is. So far she'd just been cleaning up around anything that wouldn't go bad trying not to move too much. She didn't know yet if seeing her around the apartment would be better or worse for Dean but she didn't want to hurt him by cleaning Max out of their home. She'd been trying too, to make dinner every night, always enough in case he'd decided to come home, even if he hadn't. She wasn't as good as Max was but she was trying. She ended up bringing most of it to the diner to be picked up by anyone who might want it. She didn't have much appetite of her own.
She had a couple bags with her as she made her way to the hospital, too tired to run but too anxious to walk. One had some new clothes for both Dean and Stevie, along with basic toiletry bags: deodorant, toothbrushes, razors, things she thought they might want. The other had the food she'd made tonight, just some pasta and meat sauce, figuring it'd at least be something for Stevie, until he could get home. She knew he was right, he'd be better off at home and it might be easier to calm her dad down if he wasn't there...but that didn't mean her nerves and anxiety weren't through the roof either. She just had to hope it wouldn't be too long before they'd all be alright for him to come back.
She walked in to the familiar building and followed the noise until she saw her boyfriend, biting her lip as she approached him slowly.
