She had learned early on that Stevie's way of cheering people up was...unconventional at best, but for her it was perfect. He might sound like he was being a jerk but she knew he wasn't really, that it was his way of easing tension, lightening her mood and making everything feel a little bit less serious. She gave him a small smile of her own and stood on her toes so she could kiss him.
"There's a couple of rolls in the bag without the food. One's yours, one's for him. There's a toothbrush and razor and a few other things tucked inside the clothes. Should help you feel more human." she told him, running her fingers along the stubble on his cheek. She didn't mind the rough look but understood how getting back to himself might make him feel better.
