Some days there's this weird bittersweet feeling, like science is so cool, and I really wish everyone could have stuck with using it to make people's lives better instead of finding new and better ways of killing each other.

Which I recognise is possibly a little ironic from someone who got a damn good reputation for getting things done in the Special Forces, but I guess that's the eternal contradiction of humanity (and also capitalism).
