[FRIENDS, you know who you are]

I've been thinking, for reasons, about that idea that you can tell a lot about a person by what their favorite song or book or whatever is. Usually songs and books. Those are things that have a tendency to be really personal to a person. And it can sometimes be surprising to see what comes up.

So, because I'm bored and can't sleep, what's yours? And because fair is fair, here are mine:

Book: House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielwelski
Song: Soundgarden - Black Hole Sun

Bonus round...

Movie: Hellraiser: Bloodline

Super bonus round...

Color: Purple (more amethyst and lilac than royal purple, but y'get the picture)

Nah, not even close. Wilder is a legend. Do you know wrote in tumble he did the first time you see Wonka? He said that he wouldn't do the film unless he got to do it because the audience needed to distrust everything he did after that moment. Fucking genius.

I love Young Frankenstein too. As soon as I get my projector, that's the first movie I was going to show. And then Herzog's Nosferatu. One for the kids, one for the grown-ups.
